How we size
ZOLAID cuts are true to size with a slightly relaxed shoulder for laptop bags and long desk days. If you sit between sizes, size up for coats and blazers; stay true for tees, trousers, and shoes.

Fit notes
- Blazers & coats — tailored through the torso, ease at the shoulder for a laptop strap.
- Merino & tees — close but not compression; size up for a looser studio fit.
- Trousers & chinos — mid-rise, straight leg; belt loops sized for our Founder Belt.
Shoes
We use standard US men’s sizing. Width is medium (D). If you usually take a half size, round up for trainers and runners; stay true for loafers and derbies.

Bags & glasses
Bags are one size. Laptop Brief 14″ and Device Sleeve Set fit most 13–14″ notebooks; Weekender and Duffel are cabin-friendly when packed light.
Glasses use a standard adult frame (approx. 52–18–145). Blue Light Shield and Focus Optical suit most face widths; ask for a fitting if you need a narrow bridge.
Materials we use
We specify fabrics for stretch, recovery, and travel — not runway drama. Everything should feel quiet on a long build day.
Clothes
- Soft shells & blazers — wool-blend or technical stretch weave with recycled polyester lining where listed.
- Merino Protocol Crew — 100% merino wool (18.5 micron), naturally odor-resistant.
- Tees & polos — organic cotton or cotton-elastane for shape retention.
- Trousers & chinos — cotton-elastane or wool-blend twill with matte hardware.
- Suits & coats — wool-rich outer, breathable lining, discreet branded labels.
Bags & leather kit
- Briefs & totes — full-grain or corrected leather with water-resistant backing; YKK zippers.
- Sleeves & pouches — microfiber or leather with soft suede-like interiors for devices.
- Belts & wallets — vegetable-tanned leather that softens with wear; nickel-free buckles where possible.
Shoes
- Loafers & derbies — leather upper, leather or rubber sole, cushioned insole for all-day wear.
- Trainers & runners — knit or leather upper, EVA midsole, gum or rubber outsole.
Glasses
- Acetate & optical — Italian-style acetate or lightweight metal; CR-39 or polycarbonate lenses.
- Blue light — clear filter coating for screen-heavy days (not a medical device).
- Sun — UV400 lenses in acetate or metal frames.
Perfume
- Eau de parfum & cologne — alcohol-based, quiet projection for studio and boardroom.
- Discovery & travel — glass vials and refillable atomizers; store upright, away from heat.
- Fabric mist — light linen/wood reset for soft shells and bags (test on a hidden area first).
Watches
- Cases — brushed steel, titanium, or matte ceramic with sapphire crystal where listed.
- Movements — quartz for daily precision; automatic on dress pieces (service every 3–5 years).
- Straps — leather, mesh, nylon, or rubber; quick-release where noted; fits ~6.5–8" wrists.
